17th edition of the Orléans International Piano Competition, an international competition dedicated to the piano repertoire of the 20th and 21st centuries. After the first round, held in Chicago, Frankfurt, and Shanghai, the 12 selected candidates will participate in Orléans for the final rounds of the competition. The second round will take place on October 27 and 28, the semifinal in recital format on October 29, and the final on October 31. The competition includes the Ricardo Viñes Prize, a special interpretation award for 20th-century repertoire, granted with the support of the Loiret Departmental Council.
