The 51st National Baton Dance Meeting of Catalonia will be held in Vila-seca on October 3, 2026, turning the municipality into the meeting point for baton groups from across the country. Considered the most important annual event in the baton world, the day will combine exhibitions, cercaviles, institutional acts, cultural activities and musical proposals. The activities will be distributed in various emblematic spaces of the town, such as the Vila-seca Castle, the Riera Park and the Historic Centre. Among the highlights will be the cercaviles of the participating groups, the joint dance of l'Esquerrana, the institutional speeches and the traditional camaraderie dinner. The meeting will be completed with musical performances and activities open to the public, in a celebration that aims to promote Catalan popular culture, foster exchange between groups and reinforce the dissemination of one of the country's most rooted traditions.
