A programme that highlights the richness and versatility of Spanish dance through three pieces of great expressive power. Dualia shows the most modern and technical side of the National Ballet, a dialogue between the classic and the contemporary that reflects the constant evolution of Spanish dance. Segunda piel represents the professional journey of choreographer and dancer Miguel Ángel Corbacho in three sonatas. The first stages the strength of youth; the second, the passage of time; and the third, the maturity of the dancer. In Grito, the intensity of flamenco blends with contemporary dance to explore the energy and passion that define the spirit of this discipline. Antonio Canales created this choreography for the National Ballet of Spain, in which he makes a brief review of the different palos of flamenco: seguiriyas, soleá, alegrías, tientos and tangos.
