Celebrar el Lliure

The stage of the Gran Teatre del Liceu hosts the commemorative concert for the fiftieth anniversary of Teatre Lliure, a celebration that transcends the milestone to become an act of living memory and collective projection. Upholding the foundational values of Teatre Lliure, we summon the soul of the extinct Orquestra del Teatre Lliure and the programmes that were performed. Under the direction of Josep Pons, the founder of this beloved ensemble, this concert symbolizes the meeting between two institutions that have understood art as a space of demand, risk, and constant openness.
