El Laboratorio se instala

Before Beethoven dared to write a single symphonic note, he had to "domesticate" the forms of Haydn and Mozart. We will analyze how the piano serves as the sketchbook in which Beethoven dares to be abrupt and emotional for the first time, and how he transfers this energy to his quartets (op. 18) and to the Septimino (Septet in E-flat major, op. 20) as a testing ground for structure, drama, and contrast. Everything is prepared to make the leap to the public symphonic stage.
