El pessebre de Pau Casals

This concert is part of the events commemorating the 150th anniversary of the birth of Pau Casals, an essential figure of Catalan and universal culture. We will perform El Pessebre, his great oratorio for peace, a work of high humanist inspiration and deep spirituality. Under the direction of Edmon Colomer, with a distinguished quintet of vocal soloists and the Cor Madrigal, the Franz Schubert Filharmonia will tackle this extensive score.
