Rèquiem de Verdi

'Verdi's Requiem': an experience that transcends time and tradition. On a stage where light and shadow blur, Verdi's Requiem takes shape with an intensity that challenges the limits of the sacred and the sacrilegious. This concert promises to be, without a doubt, the Requiem of the century, an experience that transcends time and tradition. With extraordinary soloists who embody the dramatic expressiveness of the work, every word and musical phrase becomes a dialogue between life and death, between piety and transgression. Composed in memory of the poet Alessandro Manzoni, the Requiem is more than a funeral mass: it is a spectacle of extreme passions, of violent and subtle contrasts, in which the choir and orchestra enter into conflict and complicity, creating a soundscape of permanent tension. The climactic moments, from the terror of the 'Dies Irae' to the sublime serenity of the 'Lacrimosa', oscillate between the majesty of the sacred and the daring of what is almost an heir to operatic drama.
