As it is located on the ground floor of the venue, there are no steps and no lift is required to access it. The Xavier Fàbregas Hall is named after the historian, theatre critic and essayist Xavier Fàbregas i Surroca (Barcelona 1931, Palermo 1985), recognised as the most important scholar of Catalan theatre of the 20th century. With a capacity of 360 seats, distributed between the stalls and the amphitheatre, it is notable for its comfort, its large stage and excellent acoustics. Renovated in 1999, it is technically equipped to accommodate large-scale productions. It has year-round air conditioning and accessible entrances and facilities for people with reduced mobility on the ground floor. It hosts theatre, improvisation, magic, music, dance, monologues and children's and family programming.
