Espectacle “A casa na Clementina Arderiu”

The Hola Creador company presents this theatrical proposal with verses and songs, dedicated to Clementina Arderiu. A few days before the death of her husband, the poet Carles Riba, Arderiu reviews from the terrace of the Cadaqués house her life and her poetic work: she was supposed to be a shop assistant in a silverware store and poetry fell in love with her. From another love, Riba's, to the children, to the first verses, to the civil war in Barcelona and the terrible exile in France and her return to Barcelona until the house on Amargura street that friends gave her, the poet reads some verses and in the intimacy of a sunny space near the sea she unravels her life at the bottom of a troubadour guitar that launches verses and melodies. This activity is framed within the commemoration of the Clementina Arderiu Year.
