Exposició "Aurèlia Muñoz. Ens"

Retrospective exhibition dedicated to Aurèlia Muñoz (1926-2011), one of the central figures of contemporary textile art in Catalonia and internationally. The show presents more than fifty years of artistic production through collages, assemblages, pictorial embroideries, large macramé structures, star sculptures, handmade paper installations, drawings and models. The route includes works from institutional collections of the Spanish State, Europe and the United States, as well as unpublished materials. Muñoz's practice transcends the limits of the fabric and fibre to explore the relationship between ancestral techniques and contemporary resources. The exhibition emphasises her interest in terrestrial, aquatic and aerial ecosystems and offers a new perspective on her artistic legacy. Consult more information about "Aurèlia Muñoz.
