Exposició "Avinguda Gaudí, una memòria viva entre la Sagrada Família i l'Hospital de Sant Pau"

An exhibition that highlights the Sagrada Família and the Modernist Complex of Sant Pau. The axis formed by Gaudí Avenue is much more than an urban connection between two masterpieces of modernism. At the southern end, the Sagrada Família, a work by Antoni Gaudí, stands as a universal spiritual and creative symbol. Gaudí made the neighbourhood part of his work: he used neighbours as models for the sculptures on the Birth Facade and built schools for the children of the workers and the neighbourhood, showing a deep connection with the community. At the northern end, the Hospital de Sant Pau, designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner, represents the highest expression of modernism applied to public health.
