Exposició "Ecos. Vídeos de la donació de la Fundació Han Nefkens"

"Ecos. Vídeos de la donació de la Fundació Han Nefkens" brings together a selection of works that are part of a donation conceived from generosity and commitment to the public collection. This gesture allows the museum to incorporate a set of pieces that expand and nuance the ways of understanding moving image within contemporary artistic practice by creators from different latitudes. The works selected here rethink the documentary dimension and open the image to more fragmentary and associative forms of construction. The texture of the video, sound, and their materiality acquire a central role in the experience of viewing the projection, displacing the idea of a closed narrative towards a more open and permeable writing.
