The exhibition, organized to mark the 50th anniversary of the First Catalan Women's Days, analyzes the influence of feminism on cinema and video art creation in Catalonia from 1976 to the present. Based on works from the Filmoteca and other archives, created by female filmmakers and artists, it presents remakes of films, video art pieces, and structured reports according to nine thematic areas debated during those days. The show thus proposes a genealogy of filmic feminism and highlights a new way of thinking and creating moving images. It has been curated by Alexandra Laudo, with advice from Marta Selva and Anna Solà, produced by the Filmoteca de Catalunya and with editing by Pilar Monsell.
