Curated by Marc Villanueva, "La fàbrica transparent" is an exhibition that seeks to understand the uninterrupted dialogue between play and work. Adopting an ironic viewpoint and celebrating the absurd, the show contrasts unproductivity and hyperactivity to illustrate the confused nature that separates the two terms. The exhibition includes works by Marta Azparren, Roc Parés, Alán Carrasco, Mónica Rikić, Raquel Friera, Total Refusal, Ezequiel Soriano and Marc Villanueva himself. Through these voices, the exhibition emphasizes the tireless production of data and content, which provokes the exaltation of a daily life that blurs the limits between leisure and work time. The paradigmatic figure that symbolizes this situation is that of video games: the working life has progressively incorporated a language close to screen jumping and level survival. The exhibition is included in the itinerant exhibition programme of visual arts of the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
