Exposició "L'entrada a un bosc"

"L'entrada a un bosc", the second exhibition of the "Digues, cosa. Joan Brossa i els poemes objecte" curated by Marc Navarro, takes as its starting point two object poems that Brossa projected as tributes despite their commemorative nature, which we could classify as counter-monuments. First, because they distance themselves from the narrative and formal grandiloquence of conventional monuments, and second, because they contribute to the restoration of the memory of the victims rather than the celebration of the victors. To highlight this inversion, the exhibition puts in dialogue sculptural, photographic, filmic, and sound works by artists who approach the notion of remembrance, permanence, and absence, evading epic and monolithic formalism. Artists: Joan Brossa, Tomaso Binga, Jason Dodge, León Ferrari and Ricardo Pons, Esther Ferrer, Annette Frick, Ruoxi Jin, Liz Magor, Bruno Pélassy and Julia Spínola.
