Exposició "Les rutes del Maquis. Camins d'esperança i llibertat"

This exhibition, framed within the European project "Exilis, 1936-1946", aims to bring to the public the little-known history of men and women who, between 1939 and 1955, maintained the anti-fascist struggle and opened routes from the French border that crossed the Pyrenees to connect with the main cities of Catalonia and the rest of Spain. Around these paths through fields, forests and mountains, the guerrillas lived stories of struggle, resistance, sacrifice and human solidarity, amidst a devastated country, immersed in a military dictatorship that struggled between misery, hunger and the fiercest repression.
