Exposició "Randa Maroufi"

Randa Maroufi presents her first individual exhibition in the State with a selection of works spanning more than a decade of work. The exhibition revolves around the body as a social construction, configured by political, economic, and institutional structures. Through films, photographs, and installations, the artist explores how bodies are shaped by various devices: bureaucracy, work, the border, or public space. Between documentary and fiction, her pieces show how gestures, movements, and bodily attitudes are capable of building and producing collective imaginaries. The exhibition proposes a view of the body as a constructed and conditioned reality, where presence, movement, and the way of inhabiting spaces become the result of regulation, control, and representation systems.
