This exhibition brings us closer to the figure of Clementina Arderiu and the central themes of her work, reviewing how her poetry has been read and celebrating its verses with vitality, freed from the prejudices that have shadowed them: "El cel és d'or / i, ardent, el cor / no vol cap brida". Curated by Maria Callís, the exhibition explores the life and work of Arderiu: on one hand, her happy contentment with "la meva vida de dona com les altres"; on the other, her awareness of being a poet and, therefore, the possessor of a singular voice with which she maintains a relationship that is not always happy and peaceful: "Si de mi no puc sortir / deixeu que us digui follies". With biographical notes that place Arderiu in the artistic environment of the time, and paying special attention to the interesting and nuanced relationship that the poetic voice maintains with song, the exhibition delves into the dichotomy that crosses the life, work and doubtful speech of the poet: "Si visc no visc. / L'amor del risc, / com m'abellia! / No l'he cercat; / me l'han donat / quan no el volia".
