Exhibition dedicated to Jordi Brunet Forasté (Olot, 1926 – Vilassar de Mar, 2014), a renowned model maker trained at the School of Fine Arts in Olot and in his father's workshop, Sadurní Brunet Pi. Brunet began his professional career in Barcelona, working in the workshops of the Sagrada Família and for various rationalist architects. From 1957 he settled in Madrid, where he became a leading professional and collaborated with architects such as Fernando Higueras, Francesc Mitjans, Antonio Lamela, Antonio Bonet, José Antonio Coderch, or Josep Lluís Sert, among many others. Through his models he contributed to making architectural and urban projects visible and understandable that transformed the country during the decades of construction expansion. Curated by David Santaeulària, the exhibition highlights the skill of the model maker and the importance of his work as a bridge between the idea, the project, and reality. The show is part of the Olot Arquitectura cycle and of the activities of Any Gaudí, which commemorates the 100th anniversary of the death of Antoni Gaudí. Organizer: Comarcal Archive of the Garrotxa
