Impressions – Kodama

"KODAMA" by Ayako Fujiki is a project that explores the relationship between music and nature through the piano. The compositions seek to convey sound impressions: small moments, sensations and atmospheres inspired by the Japanese idea of kodama, forest spirits that symbolize the life of trees and their echoes. A piano recital with a program that dialogues with the sensitivity of musical impressionism, paying attention to the color and detail of sound, creating a bridge with the piano tradition of Erik Satie, Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel. It is not about imitating styles, but establishing a dialogue between sensibilities. The concert invites the audience to listen in a different way: observe the instant, nature and memory through sound and poetry, understanding music as a form of emotional resonance.
