Intervenció artística "Vesica Piscis"

The artist Fernando Prats' intervention in the Romanesque art halls consists of a set of works that propose subtle parallels between apparently distant eras. With the complicity of gravity or the beating of wings of some birds, the artist traces the registers of universal movement. Assuming this complexity, he weaves a plot of landscapes that evoke the experience of the passage of time and the rhythms of nature, making visible the hidden geometries in Romanesque art. The contemplation of these traces reveals an atemporal connection in the themes despite the conceptual differences between eras. In this project, curated by Gloria Moure, Fernando Prats establishes a line, an itinerary that is interwoven through the Romanesque art halls with alternative landscapes, uniting the different parts of the exhibition into a whole. Throughout this itinerary, the artist explores the concept of representation with nature as the artistic subject through pictorial register works that develop the notion of landscape, as well as creations outside of time that claim the vision of painting as a stratified and deep sedimentation of the contradictions inherent to the human experience.
