La revolució a Olot (1936-1938)

We will ask how the social revolution that triggered the military coup of July 18, 1936, developed in the city of Olot: Who carried the singing voice? What happened? What measures did the Antifascist Committee take? And the Municipal Council? And the Generalitat? What did each party and union defend? What support did they receive from the Olot population? How did the war affect the revolution? And the ideological confrontation between parties? In charge of Joan Barnadas, a scholar of 19th-century Olot and author of various books and works referring to this topic. Organizes: Aules de Difusió Cultural de la Garrotxa. ACUGA
