La Torre dels Somnis

La Torre dels Somnis is a large-scale show that combines opera with circus and poetry through the music of Puccini, under the direction of stage director Lluís Danés. A proposal halfway between opera and circus, where we (re)visit the arias and endless melodies that Puccini wrote. The show bears the seal of stage director Lluís Danés and the musical direction of Sergi Cuenca, who also wrote the musical revision based on Puccini's work. The plot explains how the inhabitants of La Torre dels Somnis will have to defend and protect their dreams and utopias to save their statu quo. In a world compromised by the darkest interests, "the impossible", who inhabit the tower, will challenge their own destiny. The circus part will feature traditional numbers from this performing art: equilibris, corda, suspensions, trapezi and dance.
