Lorca, alma ausente

Dramatized reading of texts by the poet from Granada in honor of Lorca Year. The early hours of August 18, 1936 (90 years ago) saw Federico García Lorca assassinated, who was 38 years old and too modern for the Spain of the time. Considered one of the most important poets and playwrights of 20th-century Spain, everyone agrees on the inimitable and unparalleled magnitude of his work, which reaches us to this day with the added force of justice and vindication. This reading brings us closer to the author through a tour of Poema del cante jondo, Bodas de sangre, Yerma, Romancero gitano, Poeta en Nueva York or Sonetos del amor oscuro.
