L’ÚLTIM ÀTOM

Uncertainty engulfs humanity. While high-ranking government advisors impose a self-declared ultimatum to address it, some parents face the disappearance of their daughter and the loss of the grandmother's language. And all this, with the conviction that what ceases to be named ceases to exist, but with the doubt of whether what is mentioned eventually comes to be. The Last Atom confronts two worldviews, playing science and language against each other, and, in turn, explores the human need to create fictions to escape reality. An apocalyptic tragicomedy in the purest style of Jordi Oriol. Interpretation: Joan Carreras, Mia Esteve, Paula Malia, Carles Pedragosa Torres and Lara Segur | Authorship and direction: Jordi Oriol | Production: Indi Gest
