Within the framework of the Clementina Arderiu Year, which commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of the poet's death, this symposium is organized with the aim of promoting studies on her work. Although she is a recognized writer from her first books and included in the Catalan poetic canon as early as the beginning of the 20th century, she currently has little academic bibliography and still awaits a doctoral thesis that would allow her to be considered literarily as she deserves. The assessments her poetry has received so far, despite some exceptions, have not gone much beyond general or reductionist appreciations, which do not highlight all the variety, complexity, and richness it contains. This symposium aims to address Clementina Arderiu's poetic production from diverse methodologies and approaches in order to delve deeper into a very relevant but little-known literary figure of our letters.
