Odissea

Eduard Iniesta's La Odisea does not explain in detail the adventures of Ulysses and his soldiers on their return to the island of Ítaca after the Trojan War; it does not explain the trials and difficulties endured before reaching a purpose; nor does it explain the odysseys lived by those who risk their lives to emigrate to another country dreaming of a better future. It is none of all that, but, at the same time, it is everything. Because this La Odisea speaks, among other things, of love, perseverance, fear, resilience, temptations, purity, beauty and adversities. All issues present in Homer's La Odisea and in all anonymous odysseys. Because what is life but love, resilience, fear, beauty...? And it is that everyone lives their own odyssey. The proposal is completed with Los colores del mar, with music by Eduard Iniesta and lyrics by Piti Español. One day, the composer cast his net into the sea and, among fish and marine algae, found these songs. Los colores del mar speaks of this sea of colours and of the Mediterranean that surrounds us and so enamours us.
