Ofegar el foc amb foc

A poetic and visual production depicting the Civil War from the intimate and striking perspective of a child. Stage production based on the poetry collection by Ricard Creus, 36 poems from 36 (1978), and the illustrations created by his life partner and artist, Esther Boix. The poems recount the experiences of the Civil War from the author's viewpoint when he was an 8-year-old boy, offering a poetic and moving vision of the horrors of war, loss, and the emotions of a child immersed in a devastating conflict. At the same time, it is an important work within Catalan literature, not only for its intrinsic literary value but also for its testimonial value, as it provides a personal and intimate view of the events of 36. Proposal and direction: Rosa Vilanova. Performance: Blanca Llum Vidal, Sergi Cerezales, and Gemma Gómez. With the collaboration of Arnau Clavell. With the collaboration of the Teatre Principal d'Olot.
