The classic story of Peter and the Wolf through the language of dance and Prokofiev's music. Peter lives in a cabin with his grandfather and a cat. One day he goes for a walk and the grandfather gets angry and sends him back home because the wolf is around there. Peter, however, decides to disobey his grandfather... He has been carrying this idea for days. Courage, overcoming fears, ingenuity, reflection, assertiveness, coexistence or respect are some of the values that are manifested throughout this story... Sergei Prokofiev composed Peter and the Wolf with the intention of fostering a taste for music in children from their earliest school years. Associating instruments with the song, sound and movement of animals, as well as the sensations they usually transmit to human beings, is the objective of this work, where the ballet is perfectly integrated thanks to the movement of the dancers who interpret the animals and characters of the tale.
