Presentació de la novel·la il·lustrada “Roi”

Illustrator Gisela Bombilà will present Roi, her first published comic. The story is set in the Vall de Cardós, in Pallars Sobirà. Through fiction and fantasy, it highlights the lost trades, the quiet life, and the legends inherent to the territory that have been passed down orally over time. After the presentation, the author will demonstrate live how she works on creating the different illustrated pages. Attendees will be able to see the process of adding color to the drawings, with a practical example from one of the sheets of her second comic, which is currently in the creation process. From November 9 to 20, Gisela Bombilà (Mollet del Vallès) will stay at the Faberllull Olot residence to work on an illustrated album for children, with the Brazilian publisher Aletria. Organizers: Culture and Education Area of the Olot Town Council and Faberllull Residence.
