Signatura del llibre Pau Casals i la Spanish Refugee Aid

The UNESCO Pau Casals Chair commissioned researcher Dr. Gemma Caballer Albareda to conduct research focused on the multifaceted figure of Pau Casals through the values of peace, justice, and freedom that accompanied him throughout his career. The final result is the book "Pau Casals i la Spanish Refugee Aid: el compromís humanitari del mestre" which reflects his humanitarian work within the Spanish Refugee Aid, a charitable organization that raised funds to help Spanish refugees exiled in southern France, created in 1953 by Nancy Gardiner Macdonald. This research project was carried out with the support of Memorial Democràtic de la Generalitat de Catalunya. Activity included in the events commemorating Any Pau Casals.
