Workshop that invites families to discover the musical heritage of oral tradition through shared singing.
Workshop that invites families to discover the musical heritage of oral tradition through shared singing. Through a brief and experiential explanation, participants will learn what a traditional song is, how it has been preserved over time thanks to oral transmission, and what role it has played in daily life. From here, a small repertoire of traditional Catalan songs will be learned using participatory methodologies based on imitation, repetition, and musical play. The activity does not require prior knowledge and is rehearsed so that both children and adults can enjoy the experience of singing together. Activity framed within the 78rpm programme, music in the libraries, coordinated by the Library Service of the Girona County Council. Tickets available from October 1st at 10h.
