Visita Lumina divina: Instal·lació artística, immersiva, lumínica i sonora al Monestir de Pedralbes

Luminia divina proposes an immersive intervention that allows representing the symbolism of the cloister through a contemporary reading based on light, sound, and time. The show, with an approximate duration of about 20 minutes, but repeatable, is presented as a new way of inhabiting and understanding the cloister: a museographic experience that makes visible the invisible relations that structure this central element of the monastery. The aim is to activate heritage through an immersive, yet respectful, experience, and to turn the visitor into an active part of this experience. Before entering the cloister, the visitor receives two elements that are part of the experience: a light object and a route leaflet. The experience is based on a system of activation layers that allows integrating technology without altering the atmosphere of the place. The ambient layer, which is always present, includes soft lighting of the cloister and a very discreet sound atmosphere. The scene layer is composed of small activations at different points of the cloister, with a variable duration of 20 to 40 seconds, and includes small light projections, projections or directional sounds on the different elements. Only the activated zone changes temporarily, while the rest of the cloister remains calm. The climax of the experience is when the cloister, without prior notice, activates as a single organism. This activity is framed within the commemoration of the Pedralbes Monastery Year. More information on the Pedralbes Monastery website
