In a little over three years, Anna Andreu has established herself as one of the essential voices of the current Catalan scene. A voice that is becoming increasingly solid, she transforms tiny and delicate elements into resolute and solemn proposals through fables, poetic elements, and a folksy imaginary of exquisite sensitivity. With Marina Arrufat -her inseparable drummer (and violin!) and partner-, the singer has premiered a new album titled Vigília. An album with musical themes that explore nocturnal tension, the vigil, the latent waiting prior to an important event, thoughts before sleep, and a paradoxically radiant darkness that allows everything to be understood with clarity.
