A father, who raises his son almost alone, recounts and relives his upbringing story. At a moment in adolescence, without prior warning—as is often the case—the son begins to display homophobic, aggressive, and problematic attitudes regarding the values he has lived and received at home. To what extent should these objections—typical of age—be allowed within his home, when they offend themselves and their surroundings? Until when should one endure and take responsibility as a guardian for someone who puts forward ideas and defends values that seem deplorable and contrary to one's principles?
