Cafès científics de la Universitat de Barcelona

Starting from the last week of September, the Scientific Cafés of the University of Barcelona will resume, a cycle of colloquia in which researchers from the UB share their expertise on current issues. The topics are very diverse and are approached from different areas of knowledge, with a cross-cutting and rigorous perspective. The cycle will begin on September 30 with the Scientific Café "Reading Life: 25 Years of the Human Genome Sequencing", dedicated to commemorating the 25th anniversary of the publication of the first human genome sequence, a milestone that revolutionized biomedical research and transformed our understanding of health, disease, and biological diversity. The UB Scientific Cafés are organized in the context of the European Researchers' Night. The UB provides the coffee and research; the public provides the dialogue and exchange of ideas.
