In 2026, the Cobla Jovenívola de Sabadell will celebrate its fiftieth anniversary. It was the fruit of the Escola Experimental de Música de Cobla, created in 1974 by the ACF Sabadell Sardanista and the Pueri Cantores de l'Escolania de Sant Agustí, at a time when young bandoneon players were scarce. Celebrating this fiftieth anniversary allows commemorating a collective success born of necessity and passion. During the anniversary concert of the Cobla, the names of the artisans of this band that amazed the sardana world when it was introduced and that continues today at full speed, livening up dances and concerts and also dialoguing with other artistic languages, will appear.
