Curtcircuit: Tarta Relena + Meritxell de Soto

On 12 December, La Capsa hosts Tarta Relena and Meritxell de Soto within the Curtcircuit cycle, an essential date for lovers of contemporary vocal music and punchy rhythms. Since 2016, this duo has explored a unique sound universe where Mediterranean tradition fuses with experimentation and electronic arrangements, creating landscapes that challenge the boundaries between the sacred and the profane. They present their new album, 'És pregunta', a work that flirts with the notions of tragic thought: several characters who find themselves before unstoppable consequences, known and unknown at the same time. A conceptual mix of what destiny has prepared for us, our thirst for knowledge, and the inability to integrate future versions of ourselves. Don't miss it! Based on broken rhythms and punchy basses, their sound moves easily between sensuality and energy, with a proposal that widens club margins. Their sets are a direct invitation to the dance floor: a journey where bass music intertwines with deconstructed club along with some touch of techno; all crossed by a female language that guides both their selections and their mixing style.
