Dark Eargasm: Aversio Humanitatis + Perennial Isolation + Sotabosc + Syberia + The Holeum

On November 28, the fourth edition of the Dark Eargasm Fest will take place! As always, at La Capsa, in El Prat de Llobregat. This edition will feature: Formed in Madrid in 2010, AVERSIO HUMANITATIS has constantly forged a distinctive sound within contemporary extreme metal, combining the desolate intensity of black metal with the weight and atmosphere of death metal. After their debut album Abandonment Ritual (2011) and various splits, the band expanded their sonic spectrum with the EP Longing For The Untold (2017), incorporating deeper dissonance, darker textures, and a more intricate compositional approach. This evolution culminated with their second album, Behold The Silent Dwellers (2020), a work defined by oppressive atmospheres and relentless dissonant riffs. In 2026, the band returns with their third album, To Become The Endless Static, an expression even more intense and sharp of their sound, where black metal collides with the crushing force of angular death metal in a somber exploration of the progressive dissolution of identity and consciousness. Perennial Isolation is one of the main bands of atmospheric black metal from Spain, blending breathtaking atmospheres with raw intensity and a deep emotional charge. Active for over a decade, the band has garnered critical recognition thanks to works such as Portraits, considered one of the most outstanding black metal albums of 2021. Their new stage inaugurated with the single Crimson Iconoclasm, explores themes such as decay, transformation, and spirituality, taking their sound towards a darker and more aggressive territory without giving up their unmistakable atmospheric essence. Project born in 2023 through the hand of Òscar Linares and Manel Song, along with Xavi Forné, creator of the dark folk project Ulmus. In 2025 the project stabilizes and takes shape with the incorporation of David on vocals and Gerard Serrano on bass, consolidating a lineup with extensive experience on the Catalan scene. Rooted in a deeply anti-fascist identity, Sotabosc articulates its discourse through lyrics entirely in Catalan and a very carefully crafted visual aesthetic with the intention of conveying a firm and unmistakable message of its artistic proposal. With their first work "El batec dels Maquis" it consolidates a proposal where identity, narrative, and sonic audacity converge to shape a work that is as musical as it is political.
