Exposició "L'entrada a un bosc"

"L'entrada a un bosc", the second exhibition of the cycle "Digues, cosa. Joan Brossa i els poemes objecte" curated by Marc Navarro, takes as its starting point two object poems that Brossa projected as tributes, even though, despite their commemorative nature, they could be classified as counter-monuments. First, because they distance themselves from the narrative and formal grandiloquence of conventional monuments, and second, because they contribute to the restoration of the memory of the victims rather than the celebration of the victors. To highlight this inversion, the exhibition puts into dialogue sculptural, photographic, filmic and sound works by artists who approach the notion of remembrance, permanence and absence, avoiding epic and monolithic formalism. Artists: Joan Brossa, Tomaso Binga, Jason Dodge, León Ferrari and Ricardo Pons, Esther Ferrer, Annette Frick, Ruoxi Jin, Liz Magor, Bruno Pélassy and Julia Spínola.
