Exposició "Tèrbol. Territori i visions submarines"

Tèrbol. Territori i visions submarines, by Jonàs Forchini, is based on a real case: the submerged remains of the Buda lighthouse, gradually swallowed by coastal erosion and today transformed into a silent relic beneath the sea. Through photography, visual artist Jonàs Forchini (Girona, 1992) explores this element as a contemporary ruin and sets it in dialogue with underwater archaeology and the work of the Centre d'Arqueologia Subaquàtica de Catalunya. The exhibition invites viewers to immerse themselves in a landscape marked by turbidity, lack of light, and environmental instability, where seeing becomes always a partial and uncertain exercise. Far from any idealization of the seabed, Forchini's work proposes a reflection on the fragility of the references that have historically oriented societies—as the lighthouse once was—and on the way we adapt to a territory and a world in constant transformation.
