Seròs, Lleida. Three inseparable friends grow up together through games, laughter, and shared dreams. Until one day, almost without understanding how, a war erupts; a conflict between brothers that separates their paths. When time brings them back together, already grown, in a retirement home, the ghosts of the past reappear. What are the things called that were never said? Why is it so hard to listen to the other? And to ask for forgiveness? Fantasmes de Guerra is a tribute to great friendships and a look at our Civil War through a humorous lens. Inspired by the work Érem Feres (Pagès Editors, 2023), by historian Oriol Riart, it starts from the real diaries of fighters from both sides to build an original, close, and human dramaturgy. An intergenerational show that invites children, young people, and adults to share a story about friendship, the absurdity of conflicts, and a final attempt at reconciliation. Or will it be too late?
