Festeig i giravolt is a show halfway between operetta and musical theatre that depicts some of the most endearing and notable scenes from the life of musician Eduard Toldrà. The production proposed by the young composer from Osona, Jofre Bardolet, author of the opera Ferides, features an eclectic musical style, with lyric and modern singers and diverse references (from Beethoven to pop music, passing through Catalan music). The work, which intercuts scenes proper from the operetta with performances of Toldrà's songs and readings of letters written by him himself, narrates the love story between Eduard Toldrà and Maria Sobrepera and shows the cultural boom that Catalonia was living a hundred years ago, with the intervention of personalities from the era such as Conxita Badia, Juli Garreta or Pau Casals.
