This project stems from singer Judit Neddermann's desire to create a collection of traditional Catalan music featuring chamber treatment and arrangements inspired by German Romanticism. The repertoire focuses on traditional-rooted songs extracted from the Càntut archive, with the aim of valuing and disseminating the oral transmission heritage specific to the Girona comarques. The proposal combines the warmth and intimacy of modern singing with the structural rigor characteristic of chamber music, offering the audience a profound, delicate, and deeply respectful work of the essence of the original pieces.
