La Simfonia ‘del Nou Món’ Nadège Rochat & Chloé Van Soeterstède

Chloé Van Soeterstède, conductor. We present to our audience one of the most outstanding batuts in the current landscape, that of the French conductor Chloé Van Soeterstède, known for her clear conducting and always expressive readings. We will meet again with cellist Nadège Rochat on her second visit to the season, this time with the moving Elgar Cello Concerto, a work of intimate confidence and orchestral tension. In the second part, Dvořák's Symphony No. 9 'from the New World' will fill the stage with melodic breadth and rhythmic drive. An intense programme, of great symphonic scope. Elgar: Cello Concerto and Orchestra, op. 85 A. Dvořák: Symphony No. 9, op. 95 'from the New World'
