Lea Desandre & Thomas Dunford

Lea Desandre and Thomas Dunford form a musical duo with extraordinary complicity. She, with a voice that communicates from the very first moment and a way of singing that seems to explain every word; he, a charismatic laudist, with great stage presence, who turns the encounter with his instrument into a whole experience. Together they propose an intimate and exquisite recital, built from closeness and dialogue between voice and lute. The programme gathers works from their album Idylle, a whole statement of intent, and travels through the 19th and 20th centuries with songs by Hahn, Satie, Charpentier, Lambert, De Visée, Debussy, Barbara and Offenbach. A succession of musical delicacies to enjoy with two interpreters who make complicity, elegance and communication with the audience the centre of the recital.
