45 min – dramatized reading – +16 A bouquet of marguerites (at each witch's niche) brings back the figure of Margarida Rugall, known as "Na Rugalla", protagonist of the first documented witch trial. From the documents of her trial, playwright Queralt Riera weaves the destiny of two women separated by centuries: Margarida's daughter and a woman from the present. Two parallel stories that traverse grief, memory, and the claim for a freer life. Josafat Teatre presents this production within the framework of the project 365 women a year, by the National Theatre of Catalonia, an initiative that recovers female figures invisibilized by history and gives them a voice.
