Yulianna Avdeeva &

Chaikovski and Strauss: symphonic brilliance. Yulianna Avdeeva returns to our season following the resounding success of her recent debut last season. Acclaimed by the public and for her poetic authority at the keyboard, Avdeeva will unfold her lyricism and energy in Chaikovski's Concerto No. 1. Gabriel Bebeșelea, an internationally renowned conductor with refined musical intelligence, will lead two of Strauss's most inspired symphonic poems, two works that the composer himself conducted at the Palau de la Música Catalana in 1925.
