With this new creative project, the renowned musician and composer Arnau Tordera I invites us to rediscover the world of the havanera from an authorial and contemporary perspective. The proposal arises from the artist's great interest in this genre, understood as a musical expression that unites oral tradition, collective singing, and the people's imagination. Tordera has carried out research work based on deep respect for the historical repertoire, focusing on the beauty of vocal harmonies to create a sound atmosphere that transports us to the sea and to memory. The show combines unpublished pieces with classic havaneras reinterpreted to establish an enriching dialogue between the past and contemporary creation.
