As a result of the stable collaboration with the Fundación ONCE, and on the occasion of the centenary, a tactile model of the temple is presented to bring the Sagrada Família in its entirety closer to people with low or no vision. Discovering the shape and essence of a monument like the Basílica de la Sagrada Família can be a challenge for people with visual difficulties. For this reason, the tactile experience becomes a fundamental tool, which must follow an ordered route: from the whole to the detail. With this objective, the Sagrada Família and the Fundación ONCE have taken an important step with the creation of a general model of the temple. This piece will allow perceiving the overall shape of the building, the number of towers, the cloister and the chapels that surround it. It is a representation that facilitates the understanding of the architectural structure, which rises towards the sky with all its elements —large and small— arranged in harmony.
